King Threadfin Salmon Fish Fingers
Kids love fish fingers. Healthy, protein-rich, omega-3 filled, with an irresistible crispy crumb that your kids will just love!
*Caution, may be irresistible for adults too.
Ingredients
- King Threadfin Salmon Fillets cut into 2cm x 5cm strips (roughly)
- 1 cup plain flour
- Pinch of salt
- 2-3 Whole eggs
- 80ml Milk
- Bread Crumbs, *homemade or store bought
Method
- Place flour in a large plate and set aside
- Combine eggs, milk and a pinch of salt in a shallow bowl
- Place breadcrumbs on a separate plate
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 180*c
- Dust fish in the flour, dip in egg mixture and finally coat in the bread crumbs
- Carefully place into hot oil and cook until crumbs are a crispy golden brown. Cooking time roughly 3 – 4 minutes
- Place fish fingers on paper towel to drain oil
Serve with your choice of sauce and hot chips
* King Threadfin Salmon may also be substituted for Barramundi
